We at PRASAR, aims at breaking the barrier

Prasar Foundation, is a Delhi based Non Profit Organisation devoted for the cause of educating the masses in general and youth in particular about the need to think beyond the prescribed and stereotypical notions scoring around physical issues of women, sex education and related problems. We at Prasar, aims to work for Social, cultural and educational rights of youth and women, promoting awareness regarding sex education and related concerns at different levels including ground promotion of cause and generation of required domain for growth and emancipation wherever possible. Apart from this, we attempt to assure that social justice prevails and ensure that fundamental and natural rights of individuals are upheld.

Masculine and feminine are evaluated in a certain way which often penalises an individual's sexuality, concept of menstruation and terms of conduct. Women’s physical and mental health have been the most sidelined issue in the broader feminist study lately. Social and economic coercion, at large, prevents the desirable physical and mental growth in women and also restricts their chances of exploring the available health care opportunities. We, at Prasar, attempt to fracture such linear standards by condoning the actual image of self as acceptable to oneself.
